Producers can enter their respective seed companies’ yield competitions, contact your seed marketer for more information. Each seed company still offers its own yield competition, from which entries can penetrate into the national Growth for Gold competition. If a region / company does not form part of an existing competition, the entry can be sent directly to Grain SA by completing the form below.

Payment

The entry fee to show commitment is R1,000 per entry. Payment must be made per entry and entries must be registered 2 weeks before the start of the harvest. Entries must include the identified block (minimum 2 hectares) and the producer, and for small scale farmers the minimum 1 hectare and maximum 2 hectare block. Grain SA members can enter free of charge.
